To get started you need a securities account (CSD Account), our capable team will assist you to open the account by providing you with an account opening form with which you will accompany with a valid Identification (preferably travelling passport, national ID or voter’s ID), introduction letter or ID from a working place, learning Institution or local government, one passport sized photograph and an addition Tax Payer Identification number (TIN) for those opening a government securities account. These are debt instruments issued by the central bank of Tanzania, sold at discount, par or premium in weekly auctions with maturity varying maturity periods. More the above attributes of the said debt instruments, Treasury bonds are accompanied with annual coupons so the same is not so Treasury bills.
